Bipolar disorder is a severe condition that happens when a person is getting mood ups and downs. Sometimes they will be very happy and full of energy and other day they will be depressed and with thoughts of suicide. This is a condition that needs to be treat it, even thought there is no cure.
Bipolar disorder is divided in two conditions depression and mania. If it is not treat it it can last for up to 12 months. The first thing that you need to know is that the conditions as said above is divided in depression and mania. Usually a person with bipolar disorder with experience first episodes of depression, then after a few episodes he will have mania and be ver ecstatic and happy.

Hallucinations its a clear sign of bipolar disorder or at leas a sign that you need to find a professional that can do a proper diagnosis. The symptoms vary from person to person but a swing in mood like described above is also a common sign.
